Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 Elizabeth Fechtel Walks The Red Carpet at the Country Music Awards
 Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 Elizabeth Fechtel walked the red carpet at the 2012 Country Music Awards on Wednesday, November 9th. On the red carpet, she met country music star Blake Shelton who opened the show with his performance of Footloose. The show was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.
The awards show and trip to Nashville was a dream come true for Elizabeth who is a HUGE country music fan. MAOTeen would like to thank Jeff Parker, Lisa Westerfield, Alyson Sulpizio, Rachael Todd, and Barbara Locke for sponsoring this trip.

Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 Received Royal Treatment
After spending the evening on the red carpet, Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 Elizabeth Fechtel spent some time in Hendersonville, TN with some of littlest fans and received the royal treatment.
 Elizabeth was honored to meet Mayor Scott Foster, Brenda Payne and the staff at The Goddard School of Hendersonville where she spent time with the children of the five year-old class. She read to them The Little Red Hen.

Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 Rides In The University of Florida's Homecoming Parade
Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 Elizabeth Fechtel rode in the University of Florida's homecoming parade on November 5, 2011. She rode in a beautiful 1951 silver Corvette wearing a blue and orange MAOTeen sash provided by The Sash Company. While she was in Gainesville, Elizabeth also spent time with Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen 2009 Myranda Jones, who is now Miss Gainesville 2011, and her sister Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen 2010 Mary Katherine Fechtel. She had a blast!

Miss America's Outstanding Teen Thanks Its' Sponsors
Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization is able to it's winners many incredible opportunities. It is able to do so through the generosity of it's sponsors. This year's winner Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 Elizabeth Fechtel received a fur from Venue in the Heights, a MAOTeen diamond ring and MAOTeen watch from Baseball Diamonds in Dallas, TX, a teeth whitening system from Britewhite and many more items. MAOTeen also partnered with Copperhead Salon to keep Elizabeth's locks looking lovely through out her year of service.
