MAOTeen Teens In Training Camp Participants Enjoy VIP Treatment in Orlando, FL

Orlando, FL- August 19, 2011-   Teens from New York to California have joined Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization in Orlando, FL for a week of fun-filled workshops and other pageant events.  The 16 teenagers in the Teens in Training Camp have had the opportunity to meet Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2011 Lacey Russ and learn from professionals such as Valerie Hayes, Elizabeth McGlynn, Kim Parrish, Kyle Haggerty, David Lang, Deb Knoske, Jenn Bopp Cady, Jennifer McKenna, John Best, Jennifer Reeves, Stacey Schieffelin, Meghan Miller, Kellie Lightburn, and Robin Fleming.

The teens enjoyed an exclusive backstage tour of the Linda Chapin Theater and had the opportunity to watch some of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2011 contestants rehearse for Thursday night's talent competition.  The teens met with members of the MAOTeen production staff and got an inside look at what happens backstage.  They also rehearsed their own onstage introductions.  The teens experienced a taste of a day in the life of a celebrity as they were followed by video cameras and posed for pictures.

MAOTeen sponsor La Casa Hermosa hosted a party for the teens following Wednesday night's preliminary show and provided dresses for the girls to style and wear on the Pink Carpet at Thursday night's show.
