MISS AMERICA'S OUTSTANDING TEEN ORGANIZATION THANKS ITS 2011 AWARD DONORS
Orlando, FL- August 2011- Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization thanks its 2011 award donors. It is through the continued support of our contributors that the MAOTeen Organization has been able to make over $4 million available in scholarships to deserving young women. This year the 53 MAOTeen contestants will be competing to win the following awards and scholarships:
- Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012 winner of a $25,000 scholarship - Subsidized by Rosen Centre Hotel; * and additional in-kind awards
- First Runner Up winner of a $15,000 scholarship - Subsidized by Ron Brouillette, Encinitas, CA
- Second Runner Up winner of a $10,000 scholarship - Subsidized by Jeff Parker, Sarasota, FL
- Third Runner Up winner of a $5,000 scholarship - Subsidized by MAOTeen Sorority and Platinum Parents' Club

INDIVIDUAL SCHOLARSHIP *
- Auburn University
- Four year renewable scholarship up to full tution awarded to Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012
- Four year renewable scholarship up to $15,000 to - Scholastic Excellence Award Winner (Highest GPA) and MAOTeen contestants meeting requirements
- Nova Southeastern University Razor's Edge Leadership Program $10,000 annual scholarship (four year renewable - total $40,000)
- Troy University
- Chancellor's Scholarship Award - four year renewable scholarship providing full tuition and applicable out-of-state fees, total value $60,000
- Scholars Award - four year renewable scholarship providing full tuition, room & board and applicable out-of-state fees, total value $83,000
*Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012, the Scholastic Achievement winner and all other contestants may qualify for the in-kind scholarships listed above. Each contestant must meet the entrance requirements of the university. |

Miss America's Outstanding Teen is a scholarship-based program offering accomplished teens the opportunity to be awarded funds for college. The program promotes scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement for America's teens. In the past five years, the organization has made available more than $3 million in college scholarships.
