MAOTeen Announces NEW Teens In Action Award Sponsored By The Professional Pageant Preparation, LLC
 Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization is pleased to announce a NEW Teens In Action Award that will be sponsored by Elizabeth McGlynn, Professional Pageant Preparation, LLC. Teens in Action is a $500 award that will be awarded to a contestant based on her platform.
MAOTeen contestants were asked to submit an essay explaining her platform, why it is important to her and talking about how she worked to integrate it into her community.
"These young women are truly our leaders of tomorrow and represent the best and the brightest of young women today," Elizabeth McGlynn, Professional Pageant Preparation, LLC said. "The MAOTeen Organization is helping these exceptional young women to not only reach for their goals - but to achieve them."
The recipients of these awards will be selected by the Scholastic Judges committee and will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and After Party on Saturday, August, 20, 2011 immediately following the competition.

Miss America's Outstanding Teen Evening of Stars to Be A Star Studded Event
Miss America's Outstanding Teen's Evening of Stars will be an event you don't want to miss. On Friday, August 19, 2011 Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2006 Meghan Miller will emcee this star studded event. Throughout the evening guests will be entertained by MAOTeen 2011 Lacey Russ, American Idol's Ariana Afsar and Radio Disney's Joey Page.
The evening will also include a fabulous silent auction brought to us by La Casa Hermosa. Make sure to stop and bid on items such as Xboxs, IPods, designer fashions and cosmetics. All proceeds will support the Miss America's Outstanding Teen scholarship fund.
