MISS AMERICA'S OUTSTANDING TEENS 2011 KICK OFF WEEK OF NATIONAL COMPETITION
 

Orlando, FL- August 13, 2011- Miss America's Outstanding Teens (MAOTeen) arrived in Orlando, FL this weekend to kick off the week of national competition.  MAOTeen, the "little sister" to the Miss America Organization, is hosting 53 representatives competing in evening gown, fitness and talent competitions for the chance to win scholarships totaling over $300,000 and the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2012. The competition will be held at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center beginning on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 and concluding on Saturday, August 20, 2011.

The young women are excited to begin a memorable week of competition. During check-in they autographed posters, were briefed on their busy schedules and received goodies from some of our many sponsors that help make this week possible. In their bags they found items from Philosophy, ShavemateBumpits, Showstoppers Fashion tape, Pureology, YBF cosmetics, Deborah Lippmann nail polish, Tan Towels and the latest issues of Pageantry and Gladys magazines.
