First, some quick do's and don'ts at Texans games.
Do: Yell loudly.
Do: Be seen holding a Saint Arnold beer while yelling loudly. 
Don't: Be too cheap to get a jersey of a player currently on the roster.
Saint Arnold beers are available on all three levels of Reliant Stadium. The glitch has been fixed on the top level so our beers are available there again.
While our tailgate is full for this weekend, if you would ever like to join our tailgate in the Platinum Lot at a future game, please make sure to email kathy@saintarnold.com by Wednesday the week of each game. For noon games, we start tailgating at 10 AM and close up when dry or at 11:30 AM, whichever occurs first.

| Oktoberfest at the Brewery Friday, Oct. 5 & Saturday, Oct. 6
There are still some tickets available both evenings for our annual Oktoberfest party. There will be sausages, pretzels, sauerkraut, music, mugs and, of course, the King and Queen of Oktoberfest  competition! More details on all of this on our website. Here is a quick summary:

 You can find Lawnmower and Oktoberfest near Sections 108, 117, 126. Amber and Lawnmower can be found at the end zones on the third level. Amber can also be found near Sections 506 and 536 and at all four Barley and Hops on the Club level.

Fresh Hop Elissa on Draft Starting Next Week
This year we had 350 lbs. of wet Cascade  hops flown down to us the day they were picked and before they were dried so we could use them in a batch of Fresh Hop Elissa. We used our lauter tun as a giant hop back and ran the wort through these hops before knocking out to the fermenter. Fresh Hop Elissa will be available on draft only and will be appearing around town where you normally find Elissa on tap. All of the Fresh Hop Elissa kegs have tap stickers attached to the kegs so the tap marker should say "Fresh Hop Elissa" if it is indeed the fresh hop batch. It will also be on tap at the brewery beginning Monday, October 1 until we run out. Elissa IPA is a single hop beer using only Cascade hops. The fresh hops give a slightly grassier flavor to the beer. The difference in the flavors is subtle yet discernible. We replaced 67 lbs of our regular Cascade hops with the 350 lbs of wet hops in this 120 bbl batch. Enjoy!

Big Bite Nite at the Houston Museum of Natural Science Thursday, September 27 We're back for the 6th consecutive year for this annual culinary feast. More info and tickets here. Tomball Bugs, Brew & BBQ Festival Saturday, September 29 We'll have our beer and the tie-dyed Beetle out at the Festival and you should be there too! Check out the City of Tomball's website for more info. Saint Arnold Night at Goode Co. Seafood - Kirby  Tuesday, October 2 at 5 PM Celebrating carrying Saint Arnold continually for 18 years! There will be a limited supply of DR12 bottles and other tasty treats! Watch our website for more details. Drinking Made Easy Wednesday, October 3 Be sure to catch the Houston episode of the Zane Lamprey hosted travel show Drinking Made Easy on the AXS Network at 7 PM. Some favorite places in H-Town like the Petrol Station, Leon's Lounge, Under the Volcano and, of course, the brewery will be featured. Skee Ball Tournament at Kung Fu Saloon Wednesday, October 3 Sign up from 6:00 to 6:30 PM right before the tournament (which starts at 6:30 PM). The Prize: a special private tour of the Saint Arnold barrel room including sampling what is aging inside those barrels.  Endeavour Cask Tapping at Guru in Sugar Land Thursday, October 4 Cask will be tapped at 6 PM. If you love Endeavour from bottle and tap, you will go googly over Endeavour from a cask. Art of Beer in Beaumont Thursday, October 4 From 6 PM to 10 PM, come out and sample craft beers at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas.
