Saint Arnold Oktoberfest
on Friday, October 5 & Saturday, October 6
Put on your best dirndl, lederhosen or other Tyrolean duds and come out to our annual Oktoberfest party! We'll have a contest for the King and Queen of Oktoberfest to see who comes outfitted the best. We'll have sausage, sauerkraut and fresh baked pretzels. On Friday,  we'll have live music from Fish Fry Bingo (the official, unofficial band of Texas craft beer). On Saturday, the music will be provided by Czechaholics, presented by our friends at PolkaBeat.com. And of course we'll have our 2012 Oktoberfest mug. Space is very limited.

King & Queen of Oktoberfest Contest:
We will choose one best dressed man and one best dressed woman each evening using our own highly subjective criteria.  The winners will receive $100 each and the envy of all of their Tyrolean serfs. Please make sure to check the box on the reservations or email lennie@saintarnold.com if you plan on competing.

 You can find Lawnmower and Oktoberfest at Sections 108, 117, 126. Amber and Lawnmower can be found at the end zones on the third level. Amber can also be found at the 50 yard lines on both sides of the upper level and also at all four Barley and Hops on the Club level.

Shepherd Plaza Oktoberfest Pub Crawl
on Saturday, September 22
More Oktoberfest activities: our Oktoberfest Pub Crawl in the Shepherd Plaza neighborhood. We'll start this pub crawl at one location, then have an open house between four locations and then finish at a final location. The prize for making all of the stops will be a Saint Arnold Pub Crawl Pint Glass. As always, designated drivers are eligible and encouraged! Here is the plan:
1 PM to 2 PM: Mucky Duck. This is where we gather to begin and hand out the pub crawl tickets. You must make  this stop during this period to get your ticket.
2 PM to 5 PM: In any order, you must visit the following four establishments during this period:
- Mugsy's On Richmond
- Hobbit Café
- Mezzanine Lounge
- McElroy's Pub
5 PM: Finish at The Stag's Head. As always, remember that we will be bringing a large but limited number of pint glasses.
We look forward to seeing you out there! Remember to tip your waitstaff well, and that it is bad form to be seen enjoying anything that doesn't have a little saint in it! While not an official stop on the pub crawl, Star Pizza is across the street with some tasty pizza!

Thursday Night Concerts at Discovery Green
Slightly cooler weather is back, and so are your plans for Thursday nights in the fall. We're partnering with Discovery Green for another season to bring you great, free music in downtown Houston. During three of the concerts, we will give you double points if you bring your six pack carriers out to the show that night. All shows start at 6:30 PM, and you can find delicious, locally brewed beer on tap at each one.

Texans Tailgating at Reliant Stadium
The Saint Arnold crew will be tailgating in the Platinum lot prior to each Texans home game. We'll be out there from 10:00 AM to whenever we run out of beer (or 11:30 AM).
Per NFL rules, you must be on our guest list to tailgate at our tent. To get on our private guest list, make sure to email kathy@saintarnold.com by Wednesday each game week.
