The Feast of Saint Arnold at the brewery on Friday, July 15

We are putting together a feast of Beowulf proportions (without that nasty business of Grendel and his mother) to celebrate St. Arnold's feast day. Chef Scott Castell of Brenner's will be covering the tables of the brewery with offerings of beef, fish, pork and fowl. Special items from our barrel room will be available. The real purpose of this event is to raise funds for Texas Children's Hospital IBD Center / Gastroenterology Clinic. Our goal is to raise over $10,000 at this event to be donated to TCH IBD Center to help make it the leading center in the country for the treatment and study of IBD related diseases.

Chef Castell is preparing all of the food using our beers and root beer as ingredients (and selling us the food at his cost for which we are greatly appreciative). This will be no eat-a-rubber chicken-while-wearing-a-monkey suit event.

The plan is to have you arrive at 7:00 PM, mingle and enjoy the rare never-before-seen offerings from our cellar. At 7:30 prompt, the feast will commence. Utensils optional. We will also be offering a tour at around 9:00 PM. Attire is brewery formal, which only precludes flip-flops. Chainmail is not required.

Ale brined boneless Short Ribs with Roasted Root Vegetables

over Apple Cider and Amber Ale braised Cabbage

(Drumettes of Chicken slow cooked in enriched Brown Ale)

If you are on a protein diet, you'll be in heaven.

The price for this special dinner is $85 per person with the majority going to TCH. We hope that you will attend both to support TCH and to have a great experience! We will also have a couple of special items we will be auctioning off that evening.

Christmas in July

Ho! Ho! Ho! Monday we packaged a single batch of Christmas Ale. Are we getting ahead of ourselves? Have we already run through all of our Summer Pils and Oktoberfest? No! It's time for Christmas in July. Yes, pull out that sweater with a reindeer, put some festive lights up in your house and celebrate the middle of summer with a tasty Saint Arnold Christmas Ale!

Six packs will be showing up in select stores right after July 1. When it's gone, it's gone. A few pubs will be holding special events. We will TwitFace those dates and locations. So no, this is not leftover beer from last year.
