One of Houston's coolest events is returning on Sunday, May 22: the Houston Art Car Parade! The cars will start lining up along Allen Parkway beginning at around 9 AM and the parade will roll at 1 PM. Tasty beverages will be available along the parade route. Our suggestion is to show up early so you can wander amongst the cars and talk to the artists before the parade, then find a good spot to enjoy the parade as it begins!

Assuming it is completed, our new Mini Cooper will be rolling in the parade. Artist Robynn Sanders is working away feverishly on it right now!

Call for Saint Arnold Olympics Teams
for our Anniversary Party

Does doing challenging tasks, getting stinky and possibly bloody sound like fun? If so, we are seeking eight two person teams to compete at our 17th Anniversary Party. If you are interested, please send the name of your team along with the names of the two team members (include email address and phone number) to lennie@saintarnold.com. Assuming there will be more than 8 submissions, we will draw teams from a hat on Monday, June 6 to choose the participants.

Rock of Ages at TUTS on Thursday, June 2

Last call for to see this arena-rock themed musical with a pre-party at the brewery and a bus ride to the theatre.

Here's how it will work:
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Pre-Party at Saint Arnold Brewery. This will include appetizers from Spaghetti Warehouse.
6:30 PM: Bus departs from Saint Arnold and takes you the Hobby Center.
7:30 PM: Rock of Ages at Hobby Center starts.
End of Show: Bus will depart immediately after the show from Hobby Center and return you to Saint Arnold Brewery. No after party.

There are two seating options and two ticket levels to choose from but both include the party at the brewery and transportation.

Thursday Concerts at Discovery Green

The Thursday Night Concerts at Discovery Green will be starting back up tomorrow May 19 and going through June 30 (except for June 16). Concerts start at 6:30 PM. Bring your blanket, lawn chair and picnic. Good food and very tasty beverages will be available for purchase as well! On May 19, June 2 and June 30 you can bring your Saint Arnold six pack carriers for recycling and receive double points. Below is the concert lineup:

Weedwacker has rolled out and is selling briskly. We have actually sold more kegs of Weedwacker in the past week and a half than we did of Texas Wheat in an entire year. And while Weedwacker is Lawnmower with a different yeast, we have decided to start describing it as a hefeweizen instead since that is pretty much exactly what it tastes like: a really, really tasty, refreshing hefeweizen. Even if it isn't exactly a hefeweizen.
