Ale Dinner at Benjy's on Washington on Wed, May 4

Benjy's has been a longtime Saint Arnold supporter and we are now going to do our first ale dinner with them at their new location on Washington. Here is the menu:

Truly local caught snapper, puffed rice, pickled grapes, white soy sauce

Spring Brussel sprouts with parmesan & Texas olive oil

Purple potato pizza with blue cheese & truffle oil

Local shrimp & blue crab with spinach ravioli & miso-brandy cream

Sweet tea brined pork chop with Texas grits & fennel-kumquat chutney

Assorted local artisan chocolates


By the way, the chocolates are going to be paired with Divine Reserve No. 11. Bittersweet & hoppy!

National Pretzel Day at Saint Arnold on Tuesday, April 26

PretzelsPretzels first appeared at a monastery somewhere in Southern France or Northern Italy about the same time St. Arnold became Bishop of Metz (612). Monks used scraps of dough and formed them into strips in the shape of a child's arms folded in prayer. The three empty holes represent the Holy Trinity. To celebrate this, we are going to celebrate National Pretzel Day (we didn't make this up!) with a party at the brewery. Here are some details:
  • Slow Dough Bread Company will be making pretzels on site.
  • Burger Guyz will bring out their special mustard made with Fancy Lawnmower Beer.
  • Pretzel crafts including make your own pretzel necklace.
  • Brewery tour offered.
  • Other special surprises!

Time: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Price: $10 per person (includes a pretzel, souvenir tour glass)

Rock of Ages at TUTS on Thursday, June 2

rock of agesWhat is the one thing that could make seeing an arena-rock themed musical with hits from Styx, Journey, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake even more face-melting? Well, if you start said adventure with a pre-party at the brewery and a bus ride to the theatre! We've teamed up with TUTS to offer a special night and pricing for Saint Arnold fans on Thursday, June 2.

Here's how it will work:
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Pre-Party at Saint Arnold Brewery. This will include appetizers from Spaghetti Warehouse.
6:30 PM: Bus departs from Saint Arnold and takes you the Hobby Center.
7:30 PM: Rock of Ages at Hobby Center starts.

End of Show: Bus will depart immediately after the show from Hobby Center and return you to Saint Arnold Brewery. No after party.

There are two seating options and two ticket levels to choose from but both include the party at the brewery and transportation.
