Dear Saint Arnold's Army:
I declare, don't despair,
We'll brew enough of the stuff, we all swear,
For the tanks are coming, the tanks are coming,
We'll have Christmas Ale fermenting everywhere!
OK, that was a bit of a labored way of getting the point
across, but we wanted to let you know that we have four more 240 bbl fermenters
coming over the next two weeks to keep up with demand. And we need the tanks urgently so that we
can make enough Christmas Ale, the first of which will be popping up over the
next couple of weeks. We brewed
over twice as much Oktoberfest this year as last year, but it is still running
out early. If you can't live
without Oktoberfest, please grab it quickly.

Dinner at Canopy Tuesday, October 12
We have a very yummy Saint Arnold Ale Dinner set up for
next Tuesday, October 12. It is
limited to 32 people but will feature our ales paired with:
Spicy Tuna Rolls, Avocado, Cucumber & Sweet Soy
Sauce
Grilled Shrimp, Yucca Machego Fritter, Jicama Slaw &
Spicy Garlic Sauce
Crab Cake, Fried Green Tomatoes, Scallion Remoulade
& Jalapeno Chimichurri

We sat down with Canopy Chef Liz Brooks and Beer/Wine
Director Sean Jenson and had a hard afternoon of tasting each dish and pairing

Saint Arnold Night at the Houston Rockets on Wed, Nov 3
 We've done it with the Aeros and now we're
going to do it with the Rockets. It will be the first ever Saint Arnold Night with the Rockets. We'll gather before the game for tasty
pregame refreshments at Discovery Green. The Rocket Power Dancers will make an appearance there. Then we'll roll on over to the Toyota
Center to watch the Rockets take on the New Orleans Hornets where we can hoot
and holler. By the way, this will
be the 2nd home game of the season. Here are the details:

3-2-1: Ignite! Cai Oddysey
Viewing Party at Saint Arnold
Saint Arnold will host a
special viewing party from 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6 for guests to
watch the finale of artist Cai Guo-Qiang´s Odyssey project. Courtesy of
CultureMap, a live feed of the ignition will be projected onto the walls of the
brewery. The party, co-hosted by the MFAH, CultureMap, and Saint Arnold , will showcase the final phase of the
monumental work, which the artist has created using gunpowder. The finished
work will be permanently installed in the MFAH´s new Ting Tsung and Wei Fong
Chao Arts of China Gallery, opening Sunday, October 17 to the public, MFAH
Members' previews on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16.
The first 100 people to
enter the viewing party will receive FREE admission courtesy of the MFAH.
Admission for subsequent guests is $7. Limited capacity, please arrive early.
Lite bites will be
provided by CultureMap partners, including Sprinkles Cupcakes.
