Arnold Oktoberfest 2010
"The Saint Arnold Polka" should have put you in the mood. Now put on your best dirndl,
leiderhosen or other Tyrolean duds and come out to our annual Oktoberfest
party! We'll have a contest for
the King and Queen of Oktoberfest to see who comes outfitted the best. We'll have sausage, sauerkraut and
fresh baked pretzels. We'll tap a
cask. And of course we'll have our
2010 Oktoberfest mug. There won't
be a live band this year, but we'll have lots of fun! Space is very limited.
Here are the details:
Dates: Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2
Time: 6 PM to 9 PM
Location: Newery
Admission: $40 Includes dinner, pretzel and commemorative mug
King & Queen of Oktoberfest Contest: We will choose
one best dressed man and one best dressed woman each evening using our own
highly subjective criteria. The
winners will receive $100 each and the envy of all of their Tyrolean serfs. Please make sure to check the box on
the reservations or email ann@saintarnold.com if you
plan on competing.

Texans,
Tailgating & Football Fun
Texans games will be even more fun this year! Sure we are hopeful about the Texans
and look forward to seeing them whoop up on the great teams they will be
playing. But this year there will
be Amber Ale and our seasonal on tap (Oktoberfest right now morphing into
Christmas Ale later in the season) inside the stadium!
We will be tailgating in the Platinum lot prior to the
regular season games. Per NFL
rules, it is a private tailgate and you must be on the guest list. To get on our exclusive guest list,
please email kathy@saintarnold.com by the
Wednesday the week of each game. You must do this for each game.

Our
First Dallas Pub Crawl on Friday, September 10
Live in the Metroplex or headed to Dallas next week? We'll be having our first Dallas pub
crawl, seeking Oktoberfest and going bar to bar. Tickets will be handed out at the first stop and everybody
completing the crawl will get a Saint Arnold Pub Crawl pint glass. As always, designated drivers may
participate!
