United Home Life Guaranteed Issue Whole Life Product (GIWL)
Greetings!

 
 
 UHL has added a TRUE Guaranteed Issue Whole Life Product to their portfolio of Senior Market Products. (This is a true Guaranteed Issue product. There are No Medical Questions asked of the insured). We want to be sure that you are aware of this exciting addition to the UHL portfolio so that you can include the GIWL in your marketing plans for the fall. The basic product information follows:



● Issue Ages 45 to 75 [ANB]


● Coverage Amounts from $5,000 to $10,000


● Graded Death Benefit during the first 3 Policy Years

Policy Year 1: Benefit payable equals refund of premium plus 6% interest

Policy Year 2: Benefit payable equals refund of premium plus 12% interest

Policy Year 3: Benefit payable equals refund of premium plus 18% interest

Full Death Benefit payable if death occurs due to accidental causes during the first three policy years



● Commission Chargeback Policy (No chargeback if Death is Accidental)

The Death of the Insured during the first policy year will result in a 100% chargeback of commission. The Death of the Insured during the second policy year will result in a 50% chargeback of commission.



● Agent Application Guidelines

The application must be completed with the proposed insured present.

The Proposed Insured must not be confined to a hospital, hospice, nursing home, convalescent home or does not require home health care.

The Proposed Insured must not be HIV positive and must not have been diagnosed with any illness that would reasonably be expected to cause death within 24 months.

GIWL sales can be no more than 25% of an agent's total production. An agent must place three other Non-Guaranteed Issued policies (excluding Accidental Death Protector), for every GIWL application written.

Street Level Commissions will be the same as the 10 Year Term Graded Policy that is so easy to get issued on almost anyone not already terminally ill.

Do you need a TRUE Guaranteed Issue Policy that offers higher commissions and also offers annualization?

Have you seen UHL's Ten Year Term Graded Death Benefit Policy for ages 25 to 60 that is so simple and easy to get issued on poor health clients?

And if you are not selling UHL's Guaranteed Issued Accidental Death Policy, then you need to talk to Greg or Mark or Matt for some sales ideas. Many agents have created a niche market for only marketing this great product alone.
 
1) Commission schedules are not completed. However the first year commission rate will be the same as the Graded Benefit Term 10. Renewal Rate will be the same as the Accident Only Life Plan.
 
 
2) The product was not filed in the following seven states (it would not be approved) ----AR, ID, KS, MN, NV, NJ, and WA.
