We have a company that takes Occasional Marijuana Smokers. If they smoke cannabis 3 times or less a week, we can write them with Foresters Life as a standard smoker. Anything more than 3 times a week is a decline.
I'm running into more marijuana smokers now and more frequently too. Most of the other companies will not accept them. Most marijuana smokers do not smoke cannabis that often, but they do every now and then, if they are medial users or recreational users. With 14 states offering more lenient laws toward the use of marijuana this is a great niche market to go after.
