Real Estate Outlook on Agenda of March Lunch Exchange
Sumter County has weathered the burst of the national real estate bubble better than most areas. In fact, Forbes magazine recently named The Villages as America's fastest growing small town. But where will it go from here? Danny Smith of Smith and Smith Realty and President-Elect of the Realtors Association of Lake and Sumter Counties, will provide insight.

The future of Sumter County's real estate market will be the topic of the Chamber Lunch Exchange on Wednesday, March 14, at Wildwood Country Resort. The Lunch Exchange begins at 11:30am.

Wildwood Country Resort is located at 1504 Heritage Blvd. in Wildwood. The cost to attend is $12 for members and $18 for non members and RSVP is required. Email assistant@sumterchamber.org or call 352-793-3099 to reserve your seat. Don't forget to ask how to get premium exposure in the Member Midway.

When a deal is lost, most people will look back at why it happened. All too often they come to the wrong conclusions. Yet, more than likely, the real reason had little to do with who could do the job most cheaply.  Read More Here>>
IRS Offers Small Business Tax Workshops
IRS Logo
The Internal Revenue Service is offering Small Business Tax Workshops in Ocala and Clermont. The workshops are designed to help the small business owner understand and fulfill their Federal Tax responsibilities. Workshops are sponsored and presented by IRS partners who are Federal Tax specialists. Topics vary from a general overview of taxes to more specific topics such as recordkeeping and retirement plans. Although most are free, some workshops have fees associated with them. Any fees charged for a workshop are paid to the sponsoring organization, not the IRS.

Workshops will be held at the Small Business Development Center at Lake-Sumter Community College's campus in Clermont, and at the Ocala Chamber of Commerce offices. Dates and times vary. Read More Here>>
