2011 Annual Report
The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce released its 2011 Annual Report at its Annual Meeting and Installation Dinner on January 20. The report details chamber successes, such as the Beef and Boogie Festival and A Taste of Simply Sumter, and the challenge of becoming independent of municipal and county funds in a difficult economy.

Sumter Real Estate Market Strengthens in 2011
Home sales and home prices in Sumter County showed encouraging growth in 2011 over the previous year, according to the Realtors Association of Lake and Sumter Counties. The number of properties sold in 2011 rose more than 18 percent, while the median price was up slightly. Read More Here>>
