Learn the secrets to better media coverage at July Lunch Exchange
Heather Sorentrue, News 13

The lunch meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 11:30am at the Wildwood Country Resort will feature representatives from area newspapers, as well as Heather Sorentrue (shown), Lake County reporter for Bright House News 13. Polly's Pantry Royal Tea Room in Wildwood will provide lunch.
Governmental Affairs: Redistricting Hearing in Sumter County July 13
FloridaMap The decennial process of drawing Florida's congressional, State Senate, and State House districts is underway. House Redistricting Chairman Will Weatherford and Senate Committee on Reapportionment Chair Don Gaetz have scheduled public hearings at locations throughout the state, including one at The Villages on Wednesday, July 13, from 8:00 AM until Noon at the Colony Cottage Center (510 Colony Boulevard).

Visit www.flsenate.gov/Redistricting for a list of all the public hearings and links to RSVP forms. Reservations are not required, but will help them prepare to seat everyone and to hear from everyone who wishes to speak.

To keep track of redistricting activities in Florida, visit the Senate (www.flsenate.gov/redistricting) and House (www.floridaredistricting.org) web pages. Both will be updated frequently with the latest information, schedules, records, maps, and plans.
