Half of the proceeds raised from wristband sales will help fund Techniques in Motion Booster, the portion of their company that raises money to offset fees for out-of-state travel for dancers. Click here for more information. On July 8, join us again for UV, the International U2 Tribute Band & Show. Half of the proceeds from wristbands will benefit Cape Fear Housing Land Trust.

The North Carolina Battleship will host the 15th Annual Battleship Blast fireworks on Monday, July 4 at 9:05pm over the Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington. Please arrive early to enjoy dinner downtown! Click here for more important information regarding parking, street closures and traffic.

You love downtown Wilmington and we want to see it! Bring us photos of your great experiences from Riverfront Park to downtown local shops and restaurants. We want to see those favorite moments or places through your eyes. Selected photos will be credited and used by WDI to showcase the beautiful downtown area. Photos must be in high resolution and submitted on a disc to the WDI office on 221 North Front Street, Suite 102 by July 15. Only photos submitted on a disc will be accepted, no emails please.

Riverside Dental Arts Open
A ribbon cutting ceremony for Riverside Dental Arts was held on Friday, June 24. Mayor Saffo, WDI Board Member Michael Keeler and WDI Past Board Chairman Gene Merritt were in attendance. This dental practice is located on 124 Walnut Street in Suite 101 of Bannerman Station. Dr. Gabriel Rich and Dr. William Carmichael provide care for most dental needs, including all levels of general and preventive dentistry.
