On June 17, come enjoy the Funky Monks for a Red Hot Chili Peppers experience and support WHET (Wilmington Harbor Enhancement Trust). Half of the proceeds raised from wristband sells will help fund WHET's Invasion of the Pirates event. Click here for more information.
On June 24, come join us again for SRVT, a local Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band. Half of the proceeds from these wristbands will go to Port City Ruritan.

The breakfast will feature a panel discussion with Mayor Bill Saffo, District Attorney Ben David, PPD Chief Operating Officer Bill Sharbaugh, Wilmington Downtown Inc. Chairman David Spetrino and Cape Fear Future Leader Chris Boney. The Power Breakfast Series, which is held at the new Convention Center and hosted by the Greater Wilmington Business Journal, attracts hundreds of area business and community leaders. Photo Contest

You love downtown Wilmington and we want to see it! Bring us photos of your great experiences from Riverfront Park to downtown local shops and restaurants. We want to see those favorite moments or places through your eyes. Selected photos will be credited and used by WDI to showcase the beautiful downtown area. Photos must be in high resolution and submitted on a disc to the WDI office on 221 North Front Street, Suite 102 by July 15. Only photos submitted on a disc will be accepted, no emails please.

| Partners of Wilmington Downtown Inc. are now eligible for a $300 discount on a SpotOn Web Video. This is a customized, 1-2 minute video profile of your business that plays on your web site. The package includes shooting the video at your location, editing the video, hosting it and promoting the video on your web site as well as on the web sites for the Greater Wilmington Business Journal, Wilma magazine and Facebook.
