Testimonial
"On December 11, 2006, Bryan County Sheriff Clyde Smith, Deputy Dee Ann Kromer and Mr. Mike Maxwell showed up at my home to inform me that my husband, Sgt. Michael W. Larson, was in an auto accident and he did not make it. At that moment, I wondered how I was going to tell our children, Megan, Shawn and Lil Megan, that their father was no longer with us. Many events have taken place since that day. Thanks to an organization called C.O.P.S. we have been able to work on rebuilding our shattered lives. Now I am trying to do my part in giving other families the same opportunities that my family has had by doing the 25-mile COPSWALK in honor of Michael to raise money for C.O.P.S." Lisa Larson, surviving spouse of Sgt. Michael W. Larson, Bryan County (GA) Sheriff's Department, End of Watch December 11, 2006. |
