Introducing "Connect"

We are excited to introduce a new feaute to The Arc of Massachusetts website coming this April called "Connect."  Connect will expand our social media outreach and allow advocates, their friends, and families to share their stories and connect with others in the community.

What you can do to get involved!

Here is a list of actions that you can take to get involved with the Connect project:

  • Join our Facebook page here (or search "The Arc of Massachusetts" on Facebook
  • Invite your friends to join the group
  • Follow The Arc of Massachusetts on Twitter @Arcofmass
  • Contribute by sharing your story (see below)

Share Your Story with our Community

We are currently looking for people to contribute to the Connect project by sharing their stories with our community.

To help us spread awareness and reach out to individuals and families who may be facing and overcoming similar obstacles as your own we invite you to submit a brief summary of your story.  We will be highlighting several stories each month in our new "Connect" section at The Arc of Massachusetts Website (coming later this month)

Please e-mail Tim Evans with your story ideas / testimonials.

Remember to Share

As with any social media project the most important thing we can all do to help further progress is to share the news with our friends and family!

We invite you to join us on Facebook and to please share on your walls.  Facebook and twitter will play a pivotal role in "Connect," as they will be our main means of notifying the community when our new stories are posted.

Thank you for your continued support!
