The holiday season is in full swing at the Whitefish Mountain Resort, building on last year's success.
Record Success
This seems the appropriate time to celebrate the solid year both in skier activity and in real estate sales. In spite of difficult economic times, Whitefish Mountain Resort set a record for total skier visits with 318,222 vs. previous record of 304,366 in the 2005/06 ski season.
Mirroring this success, residential sales totaled $8,015,900 and land sales totaled $1,550,500 for total overall sales of $9,566,400 for 2011 at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Glacier Sotheby's International Realty represented a Buyer and/or Seller in 13 of the 22 properties sold which totals $6,801,900 out of a total sold volume of $9,566,400.

New Skier Amenities
Skiers will be pleasantly surprised to find a new chair lift from the Base Lodge at the bottom of Chair 6 that whisks them up to a point on Russ's Street that is just an easy glide to any location in the village complex. In its effort to continue to provide the utmost in skier convenience, the Mountain Team is once again seeking to gauge interest in the Snow Ghost Lodge, a proposed 40 unit hotel-style condominium complete with restaurant, workout facility and full concierge services.
