One Bold Move
There's something about air travel that inspires my thinking. I always select a window seat when I fly. I love looking out at the earth below. Way below. I love rising above that place where I spend my life. I love transcending the playing field and getting that higher perspective.

My flight today didn't disappoint. So I blogged about it. It's a short blog post. You can read it by clicking here. Reading it will give this some more context.
At the end of the road, we're all going to want to be able to say that we used it well. We're going to want to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that we lived fully - that we truly took full advantage of this incomprehensibly improbable event we call life.
So let's do something right now - right this very moment, because there's nothing other than that, right now. The future is a fantasy. Now is the only time we can ever do anything. So let's. Let's make a bold move. Just one.
Answer these questions for yourself:
1.) What am I not going for?
Pick something. Make it big enough that it makes you feel a little weird. A little uncomfortable. Something that you want to be, do or have in your life but you're not going for it. DO NOT ANALYZE IT! THIS IS NOT PSYCHOTHERAPY! Just pick something.
2.) What BOLD MOVE will I make right now?
What ONE bold move will you make right now so that you stop waiting? What will you do right now to get it going? What super specific action will you take right now in order to be it, do it, or have it?
3.) To whom will I declare it?
Make yourself accountable. Declare your commitment to your decision to someone who loves you enough to hold you to it. Give them your word (the ultimate contract) and make it so.
A rich, powerful, rewarding, completely kick ass life is made up of - ah, you know what? Who cares? I mean, I still believe that at the end of it all I'm going to want to say something strong about how I used my life in the most profound of imaginable ways. But the thing is, all that gets taken care of when I am willing to acknowledge what I'm holding back on, get a little edgy about it and simply make ONE BOLD MOVE. Now.
