Greetings!
"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." ~Albert Einstein
Hope you're having a miraculous day!

I've been traveling the last few weeks, hence no Miraculous Life messages since Labor Day. I was most recently in New York City, and had the honor of giving a workshop on Mental Toughness to the team at Sortprice.com. A quick shout out of gratitude to them for inviting me, and to Charles Bjelica, veteran salesman, for the picture posted today on Facebook of the Emotional Mastery equation displaying on their big screen...

For the last 6 years, I've been coaching Dan Haugland, abundant thinking CEO of BestBill. (Click that to check out their webpage.) In a recent discussion about the distinction between The Scarcity and The Abundant Mentalities, Danno came up with the idea for this week's Miraculous Life Bulletin, so I wanted to make sure he gets the credit for the creative genius behind this! Thanks, Danno!!! Scarcity vs. Abundance So, the distinction that Danno and I were discussing is an important one. It's a distinction between two ways that we can choose to view our world. One way is from a place of scarcity thinking, where there is lack - not enough to go around. It's a weak, fear based approach to interpreting reality, and it results in a perpetual state of fear, and thus, failure of intelligence. The other way we can choose to view the world in which we live is from a place of abundant thinking, where there is more than enough to go around - of everything, despite the appearance of lack as illustrated by the imbalances that exist (in wealth distribution, for example).
When we act from a place of abundance, we activate creativity and enthusiasm. Creativity and enthusiasm lead to new, brilliant ideas and solutions. It's so interesting that the abbreviation on the periodic table of elements for gold, the most precious of metals, is Au.
Abundance is our natural state. It's the state in which we operate when we come into this life - until we're conditioned to switch over to scarcity ("Money doesn't grow on tress, young man!") Scarcity --> Failure of Intelligence Abundance --> Creative Genius The choice is yours'. Choose Gold. It's All Golden, Baby! |
