Miraculous Life
Greetings!

Hope you're having a miraculous day!

First of all, I wanted to mention that I met with my friend and client, PGA Tour player Michael Allen on Friday. He's playing the best golf of his life right now at age 51 and we shot a brief video in which he explains why he attributes his recent huge success to his mental strength and his resurrected ability to simply let it be FUN. It's a poignant message not only for golfers, but for all of us as it illustrates the intelligence inherent within light-heartedness.

Let's talk about another great mantra:

I am instantly and inextricably connected to all that exists across space-time.

It's said that the ultimate source of all human suffering is the illusion of the separate self. That is, the belief that each of us is an isolated entity, a being that exists separately - apart from the rest of the physical universe. And in being so, we must therefore work hard in order to survive, nonetheless thrive.

Here's a relevant quote by one of history's greatest scientists and greatest minds:

"A human being is a part of the whole, called by us 'Universe,' a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security."

-- Albert Einstein

For inner security. For peace. For that we must recognize ourselves not as separate, but rather as connected, not only to each other, but to all that exists across the universe.

I am instantly and inextricably connected to all that exists across space-time.

Another quote, this by my favorite of today's scientists, spiritualists and teachers:

"You are not just a small piece of divine essence that was created to exist separately. At the level of your soul you are the whole of spirit. Your connection to God is complete and seamless; your loving relationship to the universe is total. The mind cannot conceive of this all inclusiveness, however, while being caught in its own dualism. We think of ourselves as father or mother, son or daughter, man or woman, here or there, this or that. Separation is built from our own self-image, thoughts, and attachments.
The ability to live in the Self must be relearned - this is what walking the path is all about."

-- Deepak Chopra

I am instantly and inextricably connected to all that exists across space-time.

And just one more, by another favorite:

"Each of us is an aperture through which the universe is observing itself; only the game we're playing is to not know that."

-- Alan Watts

If you're particularly interested in the science behind the connectedness of all things, you can google terms like "Quantum Weirdness", "Synchronicity", "Non-local Correlations", "The Overview Effect" http://bit.ly/aEkvo2 , or do some reading on particle and quantum physics.

In the meantime, the next time you're feeling like you're living in your own world, that no one understands, or isolated and alone, that things are going against you and that no matter what you do it seems the universe is conspiring against you - try to remember that not only are you not alone and never can be...remember you ARE the universe!

I am instantly and inextricably connected to all that exists across space-time.
