Dear Participant of The Julia Margaret Cameron Award,
We thank the women photographers all over the world that have participated in The Julia Margaret Cameron Award. Thousands of images have been screened by the jurors. It wasn't a easy task because the images received were exceptional. Not having been selected by the jurors' team doesn't mean at all that those photographers that haven't been chosen as finalists have submitted images of lesser quality. The finalists selection just represents the artistic criteria of the team of jurors and the result of building a short list of nominees in each category.
WPGA congratulates the following finalists of The Julia Margaret Cameron Award. The winners and Honourable mentions in each ategory are being now selected by the jurors' team composed by Mary Ellen Mark, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Olivia Arthur, Rosanna Checchi, Carol McCusker, Vanessa Winship, and Kim Weston, and will be announced on the last week of June. Once announced, the images of the finalists, Honourable mentions, winners in each category and overall winners in both Professional and Non professional sections will be featured in Wonderpick Gallery. The overall winners will be additionally featured in ZOOM Magazine.
