| Birr Breakfast Fly-In - October 18th |
The Ormand Flying Club will host a Breakfast Fly-In on Sunday October 18th. The club have successfully held many breakfast fly-ins over the last few years and it has now becoming almost tradition that this event opens and closes the fly-in season! During the Clubs' last breakfast fly-in on April 5th almost 50 aircraft attended and well over 100 breakfasts were served.

Professional Flight Training Exhibition
Saturday 12 September
Regency Hotel, Whitehall, Dublin
The annual Flyer Professional Flight Training Show was held in the Regency Hotel, Whitehall on Saturday 12th of September and again this year there was a large turn out from all those interested in a career in aviation. Doors opened at 9.30am and a steady stream of visitors made their way in throughout the day, attending a number of seminars given by experienced pilots from FlyBe, Aer Arann, PTC and more. Numbers who attended were very much in line with those of last year. Both organisers and exhibitors expressed their satisfaction at the event and many will return again for next year's show. Further details will be available in Flying In Ireland in due course.
