Kindergarten Information Nights Start February 9
Kindergarten information and registration night for Forest, Lakeview, Meadow Lake, Neill, Noble, Northport, Sonnesyn and Zachary Lane elementary schools is Thursday, February 9, from 6 - 8 p.m. at each school. Families of incoming kindergartners are welcome to attend. Spanish-speaking families are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 for translation assistance.
The new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) magnet school, set to open in the fall at Olson Elementary School, 1751 Kelly Drive, Golden Valley, will hold a family information evening on February 13, 2012, from 6 - 8 p.m. Parents and children are welcome to attend to learn more about the new program.
Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion School (RSIS), 8808 Medicine Lake Road, New Hope, will hold its parent-only information night on Thursday, February 16 from 6 - 8 p.m. RSIS and STEAM Magnet School Applications are available online by clicking here.

NeoPath Health Clinic Set to Open February 2
Robbinsdale Area Schools, along with NeoPath Health and PreferredOne, will open an onsite clinic at New Hope Learning Center, 8301 47th Ave. N., New Hope, on February 2nd.
Employees and their dependents and retirees with health coverage through Robbinsdale Area Schools will now have convenient, quality health care at New Hope Learning Center. Convenient access to care allows for early detection and treatment of conditions, promoting and elevating health awareness while keeping people engaged and in good health for longer periods of time.
Robbinsdale Area Schools employee health care is a self-funded insurance policy. Opening a NeoPath Health Clinic will help to reduce the district's overall health care costs, provide a benefit for employees, and keep staff and families healthier. |

Armstrong Concert Choir to Perform at Orchestra Hall
The Armstrong Concert Choir has been invited to participate in the Choral Arts Finale Concert at Orchestra Hall on Sunday, April 15, 2012, one of only five choirs from the state of Minnesota to perform. Dr. Andre Thomas, from Florida State University, is the guest clinician for the event. "What a great opportunity to sing on a great stage and learn from Dr. Thomas, who is one of our nation's finest choral musicians," stated Stephanie Trump, director of the Armstrong Concert Choir. The choir will perform a solo set of music and will sing in a mass choir conducted by Dr. Thomas.
