Everyday Hero

Pam Schultz - Employee Benefits Program Assistant at the EDH Pam SchultzEducation Service Center

How long with school district: Almost three and a half years.

What I like best about my job: The people! I have a lot of fun with my co-workers!

What other employees might not understand about what I do: With every job there is always a long list of duties. The most important duty is to help employees with their benefit questions. What I think some employees do not understand is that there are only two of us, Linda Maciej and myself, to handle all the questions from both the active and retired employees.  This is especially trying during Open Enrollment each year, when we get hundreds of calls and emails every couple of days.
