Participate in Give to the Max Day today! Nov. 16.
What if you could help the Seven Dreams Education Foundation (SDEF) get $1000 just by giving $10? On November 16, Give to the Max Day, you can make a difference by donating online through GiveMN.org.
Last year SDEF raised almost $5,000. All the money was used to provide hands-on learning opportunities for students in Robbinsdale Area Schools. Every dollar you donate (up to $1,000) will be matched by an anonymous donation. What an incredible way to make an even greater impact. Click here to make a donation.

School psychologists are in a unique role to facilitate students' connections at school. School psychologists work directly with students providing educational assessments, leading individual and group social skills development sessions, guiding learning strategies and problem solving skills, and helping students develop positive self concepts by linking efforts to achievements. The importance of connections is not limited to students. School psychologists also consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, aides, administrators, and parents.
Helping our students and schools focus on strengthening positive relationships and increasing positive connections is at the heart of National School Psychology Awareness Week, November 14-18, 2011. The theme, "Every link matters. Make a connection." is directed to students, but also carries an important message to all adults.
