Flaming River Celebrates 25 Years of Business!

As we celebrate 25 years in business (1987), we are proud of the variety of products that we manufacture at our facility in Berea, Ohio. Last year, we expanded our array of CNC machines and laser equipment by adding a brand new 5-axis machining center.

As a result of this new equipment, we started manufacturing our steering boxes completely in-house. Each steering box begins with a USA-made casting and is then precisely machined and assembled using all new components, and then cycle-tested for quality assurance.

The American-made products that we manufacture comprise 96% of our part numbers, and include power rack and pinions, steering boxes, tilt steering columns, stainless roadster columns, universal joints and billet accessories.

Power Rack and Pinion Steering

Upgrading to Power Rack and Pinion steering has many benefits. Our kits are made in the USA, include all new parts and are not rebuilt, so you eliminate old and worn out steering parts. You also get the benefit of a modern steering system that is more durable, lighter, and more responsive than the original recirculated ball steering box. Plus, our Rack and Pinions retain the full factory turning radius and offer more travel than an OE steering system.

Protect your vehicle against fire, battery drain, and theft with our new "Electro-Wizard' Electronic Battery Disconnect Switch. This heavy-duty 12V battery switch ties into your vehicle's ignition to control and operate the vehicle's battery system.

Our system uses passive magnetic solenoid operation, so as long as your vehicle is turned off, the battery system is disengaged as well.
