School Sponsorship
2012-2013
(It's renewal time)
The end of the school year is almost upon us and we are planning for the children in the Kieng Phuoc schools for the 2012-2013 school year. You can give the gift of education to a child as well as support a project for the entire school with just a $50 donation for the year.
Please read the articles below to learn more about how your sponsorship gift has made a difference this year!
Sponsorship donations (new or renewals) for the 2012-2013 school year can be made until June 15th (to allow for enough time for school officials to notify families).
Additional donations to support school-wide projects are gladly accepted any time of the year.
Donations may be made online on our website or mail your check to: Paul's Kids PO Box 58 Marlborough CT 06447.

Clean Water ... Better Learning!
The water filtration systems that benefited more than 1,200 students were a huge success in both the Kieng Phuoc 1 and Kieng Phuoc 2 schools last year. School Officials said that clean drinking water was very beneficial to the children's learning.
Principals and Officials have recently asked Paul's Kids to fund an additional water filter in Kieng Phuoc 1 school since there are more than 800 children trying to use the current water filter. They have also asked us for a rain water reservoir at the school.
We are pleased to say that we are able to fund this project with the donations made by sponsors this current school year. A portion of every $50 sponsorship was put towards funding this school-wide project. Your generosity is making a huge difference for these children!

In January, 132 students received a bag of goodies as a gift from each of their Paul's Kids sponsors for Tet. Each gift consisted of:
- 10 School books
- Box of Soft drinks
- Box of Special cakes
- Bag of Candy
The children are always very happy to receive gifts to share with their families during this special time of the Vietnamese New Year. These gifts were possible because of the sponsorships provided by so many generous families. Thank you!

We received an update from the schools on the progress of the 132 scholarship students so far this school year of 2011-2012. Of the 132 students... 34 had average, 50 had good, and 43 had above average academic grades.
We are so proud of their efforts. Way to go kids!!!
