Happy New Year Members and Friends!

Thank you all for your continued interest and support in 2009. The New Year promisies to be a blockbuster for the Friends group. On March 6th, the Visitor Center at Savannah NWR will have its Grand Opening (watch for your snail-mail invitation). Inside the Visitor Center is "The Gator Hole", a nature and book store operated by the Friends group. (We are still looking for volunteers to help at the Visitor Center. Send us an e-mail if you are interested). All income generated from sales at "The Gator Hole" will be used to fund projects on our refuges.
