Dear Ballroom Dance Enthsiast,
This is our seventh year as organizers of the Desert Classic. We want you to know how grateful we are to all the people who have supported our competition. Last year in an interview Irina said "We had a dream to organize a competition which we would love to dance at--with a nice floor, beautiful atmosphere, nice people, nice judges..." And that is what we are working to deliver to you this year and every year.
Our website is completely updated so you can find all the information that you need to register. If you have not received your brochure and would like us to mail you one, please send us an email and we will get it out to you right away.

Enter our photo contest and win! It's easy... |
 We love seeing photos of ballroom and Latin dancing. Plus we'd like to get to know you better. So we are having a contest.
Here's how to enter:
1. Select your favorite dance photo. (You must be in the photo.)
3. Please include your name and status (pro, amateur, student, junior, etc.) and tell us that it is for the contest. Optional: tell us about the photo.
Rules & Details:
The photo must be about Ballroom or Latin dance (social dance, competition, practice, showcase, etc.) Subject can be funny, artful, endearing, passionate ... you decide. It does not have to be a professional photo; candid shots from personal cameras are OK. Desert Classic organizers will pick their top 20 favorites which will be published on our Facebook page so our fans can vote. Top 10 photos will receive a prize. Our 50 favorite photos will be made into a video and published on You Tube & our Facebook Fan page. Participation in the Desert Classic is not required. By submitting a photo, you grant permission for the Desert Classic to use your likeness in any type of media.

This year we are pleased to announce that we have added DVIDA® scholarships to our lineup. These events are open to Newcomers, Pre-Bronze & Intermediate Bronze students age 16+. Only the first 7 DVIDA figures of each dance are allowed.
