As we reflect back on our years as organizers of the Desert Classic, we often think how grateful we are to all the people who support our event year-in and year-out. In a recent article on Facebook, Irina commented on how much Pro/Am events have improved in this country in the last few years. 

So much hard work for both student and professional goes into preparation for competition. So we are dedicating this issue of our competition newsletter to those top teachers (and their students) who help to keep DanceSport alive and vibrant in the USA. Curious who these dedicated professionals are? We are well into preparations for the Desert Classic. We just added a show for Saturday night...Luca & Loraine Baricchi will perform for you! Additional details about this amazing couple are in this newsletter. And, If you haven't heard yet, we are also hosting IDSF International Open Latin and Standard. Our brochure and website are now updated and you can find all the information and tools that you need to register.

Luca & Loraine Barrichi to perform for you on Saturday night at the Desert Classic!We are very excited to announce that Luca and Loraine Baricchi just confirmed that they will perform for you on Saturday night, July 10th!  The Baricchis have an amazing list of accomplishments that include: United Kingdom Champions, British Open Champions along with International, European and World Professional Standard Champions titles. 
 
The Baricchi's have danced together for over 15 years. Their grace and incredible power on the floor is sure to be a feast for your eyes. This show is not to be missed! If you want to know more, please visit their website.
