We retained our great team from last year (2009), with exception of Elaine Waters who decided to move to Europe (and who we greatly miss.)

Our Eden team is Dr. Lynore Martinez, Tara Trujillo,  Ruth Dobson, Belinda Mori, Shunay Rivera, Brenda Hart and Michael Patrick.   (Shunay earned her aesthetician license in 2010.)

Purchased Sciton Profile laser system to expand our offering of skin laser treatments.    Gained proficiency in use of our Fraxel Dual skin laser, which we had purchased in December 2009, and improved our recommended Fraxel post-laser skin treatment regimen. 

Conducted staff trainings for Young Pharmaceutical, Youngblood mineral makeup and our Sciton laser.   Multiple advanced trainings were conducted for our injectors (Dr. Martinez and Belinda Mori) in Radiesse and Restylane fillers and Dysport.   Dr Martinez and Belinda Mori attend The Aesthetics Show in Las Vegas, one of the country's premier events for learning and sharing among medical aesthesic providers.

Expanded our selection of dermal fillers by adding Restylane filler (to Juvederm and Radiesse fillers).  Start carrying the Juvederm "XC" (with lidocaine) line of filler when it was introduced in early 2010, for increased client comfort.   Add Dysport treatments (as an option to Botox).

In partnership with Santa Fe Ob/Gyn, started a Center for Medical Weight Loss to offer a medically-based system to improve the lives of our clients.  Our Center for Medical Weight Loss of Santa Fe makes us part of the largest network of weight loss physicians in the country (www.santafeweightloss.com and www.mdbethin.com)   

 

Started carrying Youngblood mineral makeup (as an improvement to mineral makeup line that we previously offered)    Add sun protection hats from Coolibar.

Held Client Appreciation Day in May.   Held educational sessions (with help of our reps) during the year on dermal fillers, Botox, laser treatments and medical weight loss.

Launched a new website for Eden Medispa (www.edenmedispa.com).   Create a fan page on Facebook for our clients (www.facebook.com/edenmedispa)  

Enhance our client referral program to offer additional savings for clients that refer new people to us.

Provided 10 gift certificates to local nonprofits (mainly for silent auctions and other fundraisers)

Implement energy efficient project and install a solar photovoltaic system on our rooftop (in partnership with Santa Fe Ob/Gyn), making us the first medical practice in Santa Fe to 'go solar'.   (We started generating our own solar power in November 2010, and we are now generating all the electrical needs for Eden Medispa and a significant portino of Santa Fe Ob/Gyn's needs)

Continue our recycling efforts that were started last year.

Used local talent for our website, video and solar projects that were completed 2010.
