We hired four great people for our team in 2009:

 

These individuals all complement the rest of our Eden team - Dr. Lynore Martinez, Tara Trujillo, Brenda Hart, and Michael Patrick. 

Purchased Visia Complexion Analysis system to improve the recommendations of our consultations with clients.

 

Purchased Fraxel Dual Laser System to offer a great laser for skin resurfacing and hyperpigmentation treatments.

 

Conducted staff trainings with product providers for Obagi, Revision Skincare, PCA (chemical peels), Young Pharmaceutical (skin lightening treatment peel and Eden skincare products), and Clarisonic.   Conducted staff trainings with manfacturers for our new equipment  (Fraxel and Visia systems).  Multiple trainings were conducted for our injectors (Dr. Martinez and Belinda Mori) in Radiesse and Juvaderm fillers.

Expanded our selection of dermal fillers by adding Radiesse filler

 

Started offering our clients the availability of injections (Botox and fillers) five days a week.

 

Started offering Fraxel laser treatments

 

Added our own Eden Medispa skincare product line (provided to us by Young Pharmaceuticals), including skin lightening treatment, our own freshly compounded hydroquinone and retinol cream, and 7 other new Eden specialty skincare products.

 

Added several Revaleskin skincare products (Eye Therapy and Intense Recovery Treatment)

 

Added Clarisonic Pro skin cleansing system

 

Revamped our menu of medi-facials with five new 'signature' facial protocols and professional products obtained from Rhonda Allison

 

Added Latisse (for eyelash growth) and Blinc's mascara and eyebrow mousse

 

Added an additional six products from Revision Skincare and Obagi's new decolletage skin treatment.

Added CareCredit program to Eden Medispa so we can offer our clients with an interest-free financing option

 

Started to include Visia complexion analysis as part of our free skin consultation for our clients

 

Held Client Appreciation Day in October 2009

 

Started a monthly email 'news and specials' for our clients

Provided 10 gift certificates to local nonprofits (mainly for silent auctions and other fundraisers)

 

Hired locals for our video project and our website design project (both projectds should be finished in early 2010).   Used local bank (instead of financing company recommended by manufacturer) to finance our Fraxel laser purchase

 

Started recycling all cardboard packaging (by far our biggest waste stream).   Obtained proposal for solar photovoltaic system for our roof (will consider making this investment in 2010)
