I heard the other day of yet another indicator of how poorly the US economy is doing, "AIR POLLUTION". Who would think that we would be measuring our success in terms of "Air Pollution Volume". Apparently, with the reduced manufacturing in the US we have dropped our pollution rates substantially. We can choose to add this news to our already growing lists of 'bad' indicators or we can look at the bright side. I choose to look at this as one small contribution towards an improvement in Global Warming.
 
In these times of uncertainty, there is also great opportunity. We can't lose site of that. Marketing is usually one of the first "discretionary spending" items to be cut during difficult times. The irony here is that in down times we should continue marketing our companies.
