New Year Gathering and Training Event - January 24
That's tomorrow! Please come to the New Year Gathering and Training Event tomorrow, Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Highland Park United Methodist Church (3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas) beginning at 3:00pm. Look for the Emmaus signs. Food, fun, fellowship, worship, enlightenment, and enrichment will abound!

2010 Walk Schedule
Wait! You may be thinking. We're just a few weeks into 2009, and we're talking about 2010?! Well, one of the items that comes out of the annual DEC Board retreat is the Walk schedule for the following year. The detailed Walk Schedule for 2010 will soon be available on the DEC website ( www.dallasemmaus.org), but here is a sneak preview of the dates and sites:

New Community Spiritual Directors
With the beginning of the new year, we say "Welcome" 'to JoNell Lindh, who has assumed the duties of Community Spiritual Director. We also say a sincere and heartfeld "Thank You" to Greg Neal, who has served exceedingly well as the Community Spiritual Director for the Dallas Emmaus Community exceedingly for the past few years. We also say "Welcome aboard!" to another familiar face and voice in the DEC. Ella McDonald will be serving as a Community Assistant Spiritual Director. |
