       to deepen listening awareness:         

• Assess your listening (and/or help students assess theirs)
  with free listening skills surveys (from the book,
  Rule #1: Stop Talking!).  
• Practice conscious listening awareness with business associates, loved ones and children.
• Check out the International Listening Association. 
• Listen for artistic expression.   
• Give someone a "Thanks Giving Listening."
