DeWayne Gosdin

On August 17th, we lost our dear friend and long-time Lakeshore Foundation employee Dewayne Gosdin. For more than 14 years DeWayne was an incredibly valuable member of the Lakeshore Foundation team. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the entire Gosdin family especially his wife Dana and two young children, Bailey and Chloe. A charity account has been set up in honor of DeWayne:

Flu Shots

Mark your calendars: Lakeshore Foundation will provide flu shots again this year. They will be available on Wednesday, October 13th from 9 to 11 a.m. Cost of shots TBA.

Weight Watchers

A new Weight Watchers at Lakeshore series begins September 20th. Weekly meetings are held on Mondays at 12:30 p.m. in the Wet Classroom. Contact Carol Kutik at 313-7414 or carolk@lakeshore.org for details.

Snack Healthier

You can now purchase healthier snacks in the vending machines at Lakeshore Foundation. Try out our new baked chips and nutrition bars, and let us know what you think.

Lakeshore will provide four-week running or walking/pushing plans as well as scheduled group runs and walks to help you reach your goals.

Order your personalized holiday cards from Lakeshore Foundation. Cards feature one-of-a-kind artwork from talented local artists with a physical disability or chronic health condition. They send a wonderful message to your family, friends and professional contacts about your commitment to community stewardship. Proceeds from these cards provide important support for Lakeshore Foundation's programs serving individuals with physically disabling conditions.

This year you have two options to choose from: Anna Henning's Angel or Art Klopak's Winter Cardinals. Cards are $1 each and can be personalized with a minimum order of 100 cards; logos and other special requests are welcomed. Visit www.lakeshore.org to purchase your cards.
