I hope everyone enjoyed the new Pipe Maker of the Month profile. It's a great way for me to get to know you (our customers) and see how you turn our products into such beautiful pipes. My thanks to Kim Kendall for being our first pipe maker and his patience while we got it all together.
Training is going well. Andrea is still here for a while yet. October is her due month, and then she'll be off making bottles, so I don't have much more time left to pick her brain. I didn't realize just how many products we carry, at least 153 different Vulcanite and Lucite stems, all the different sizes and shapes, not to mention all the different colors. Plus all the other items not even on our web page yet. Paul is also training and teaching me about the tools and what motors, tenon cutters, push pulls, and buffing equipment is used for and why we carry only the best quality. Whew, I'm staying busy, enough said.
