Parade of Trees - Now thru Jan. 1, 2010 
Delaware Beach Life Team invites you to help support the Marine Education, Research and Rehabilitation (MERR) Institute by visiting their decorated tree at Grotto Pizza on Rehoboth Avenue! All money donated to their tree will be given to the MERR Institute that helps injured marine mammals such as dolphins and sea lions, or turtles, and is known for its efforts to save suffering sea creatures, often returning them to the ocean.

Foot Light Productions and the Rehoboth Theatre of the Arts are pleased to announce a dinne, murder mystery and cabaret event on Thursday, December 31st. The evening begins with cocktails at 7 PM, dinner & murder mystery at 8 PM, followed by cabaret show at 10:30 PM in the Ovations Restaurant, located in the Celebration Mall at 20 Baltimore Ave.in Rehoboth Beach. Four course dinner includes special New Year's Eve Menu, non-alcoholic beverages and gratuity. A cash bar is available.

BBB Scholarship Entries Due- 1/11
BBBThe Better Business Bureau of Delaware Education Foundation is pleased to announce its first annual Student Ethics $2,500 Scholarship. The BBB will award a scholarship to a student graduating in the Class of 2010. Judges will select the scholarship recipient based on his or her overall leadership, contributions to the community and school, academic accomplishments and written essay. In addition, nominations are made exclusively by BBB Accredited Businesses. 
.  There is no cost to apply;
·  Applicant must be nominated by a BBB Accredited Business;
·  A BBB Accredited Business may nominate more than one student;
·  This is not a financial need-based scholarship;
·  Deadline for completed application is Monday, January 11, 2010
