October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Here are just a few things you can do to support the cause:
10/1-10/20 Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth will offer "pink cards" good for 25 percent off any item at more than 70 participating stores. Money raised will be donated to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. 302-475-7905
10/2 Bayhealth will host the Go Pink! Health Fair focusing on breast health, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dover Women's Center. 302-744-6773
10/3 The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition will host a "Dreams of Hope" luncheon, 11 a.m. at the Cinderberry Comunity Center. Tickets are $50 and include lunch, Horizon of Hope gift, door prizes and silent auction. Half of proceeds will benefit the coalition. 302-245-0594
10/9 Pink Ribbon Tea at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, 2:30-4:00 p.m.at the food court for breast-cancer survivors. Sponsored by The Wellness Community. 302-645-9150
