Spicer Memorial Service - September 8
Services for Georgetown Officer, Chad E. Spicer will be held at Crossroads Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, in Georgetown (off Seashore Highway). Viewing will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM; Funeral Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. There will be a Motorcade through Town immediately after the funeral; and Internment at Cokesbury Cemetery at the conclusion of the motorcade.
Chamber Breakfast - September 9
ReindeerThe September Chamber Breakfast will be held Wednesday, September 9 at 7:30 a.m. at The Tavern on the Circle, 18 the Circle, Georgetown.
David Tidwell will speak about fundraising & construction of the new VFW.  Breakfast is open to the public. Cost is $8.00 per person which may be paid at the door.  RSVP by September 8 at 856-1544 or email norma@georgetowncoc.com. Bring your busienss card and you may win a FREE Chamber service.

YWCA Power Thursday - September 10
 The YWCA Delaware Center for Women's Entrepreneurship will hold a "Power Thursday" discussion-"Marketing During the Holidays and Beyond"-on Thursday, Sept. 10 from Noon to 2:00 PM. Discuss, share and learn some key marketing strategies to set your holiday sales up for success. "Power Thursday" discussions allow women business owners to learn from each other during two(2), one-hour sessions through a facilitated group process. Each session is limited to 10 participants and cost is $10 per person.
