Meeting - September 2The monthly Chamber Economic Development Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 2 from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Georgetown Train Station, 140 Layton Ave. The meeting is open to all interested in attending and lunch is provided. Labor Day Festival - September 7
A fundraiser/festival will be held in Jones Hall of Wesley Church, 102 E. Laurel Street on Monday, September 7 from 10-3 to help the Cannon family with medical & other expenses related to Heather's long & gallant fight against terminal illness and her recent passing. A silent auction, baked goods, crafts for sale, food, children's games & more. Low cost hair cuts will be offered from 10-Noon & chair massages at $1.00 p/minute. |

Chamber Breakfast - September 9
The September Chamber Breakfast will be held Wednesday, September 9 at 7:30 a.m. at The Tavern on the Circle, 18 the Circle, Georgetown.
David Tidwell will speak about fundraising & construction of a new VFW. Breakfast is open to the public. Cost is $8.00 per person which may be paid at the door. Call 856-1544 to RSVP by September 8 or email norma@georgetowncoc.com
