2010 represents the 25th year that Missouri Law Enforcement Officers have supported Special Olympics through their annual Law Enforcement Torch Run. This year the Missouri State Fair Speedway is proud to join their worthy cause by promoting this brand new, sure to be exciting, fun filled event. Special Olympics provide year round sports training and competition programs for the more than 15,000 Missouri athletes across the state.
The cars to be used for this race will be late model 4-Door Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis and the team driver must be a Commissioned Law Enforcement Officer. This will provide the "Cop Car" look that will excite the fans.
This will be an exciting 50 Lap Feature Race on the Missouri State Fair Speedway's Historic 1/2 Mile Track in Sedalia, Missouri.
During intermission, each race team will be featured on the Speedway's Jumbotron. Also, throughout the intermission, we will have many fun law enforcement skits to entertain the fans and race teams. The Battle of the Badges is going to be an incredible race night!
