Second Candidates Forum

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce and the Clinton Progressive Association are hosting the second forum with the candidates for the upcoming election of Commissioners for the Port of South Whidbey and
South Whidbey School District Director
 
The second forum will be:

Clinton Community Hall
SR #525 and Humphrey Rd
 
This forum will feature:

 Curt Gordon, Ed Jenkins and Mona Newbauer
 Candidates for Port of South Whidbey Commissioner Position 2
 
Leigh Anderson and Leo Langer IV 
Candidates for S. Whidbey School District School Director District 4
 
Tom Fisher and Jill Engstrom
Candidates for S. Whidbey School Director District 5
  
Candidates will address the issues in a moderated discussion,
followed by audience Q&A.
 
The event is free and open to the public.
All South Whidbey residents are encouraged to attend.

What are the spiritual principles and inner qualities we wish to cultivate in our everyday earth relationships? Drawing from Gaia science, the Universe Story, Thomas Berry's and David Spangler's teachings in incarnational spirituality, Ann Amberg will unfold simple processes to reorient our center of gravity, invite inner alliances, understand beauty and limits in terms of ecology and complex systems, learn about our cosmic beginnings and revitalize our sense of curiosity, wonder and mystery. Appropriate for educators, parents, and community leaders.
Fee: $25.00

Lunch - 1:00 pm
Reserve lunch in the Dining Room: Soup and salad prepared with local organic food by the Whidbey Institute chef. $15.00

In Celebration of the life of Thomas Berry, 2:30 - 4:30pm
A time of readings, stories, video excerpts and silence woven into a memorial gathering for a great world soul and an inspiration for the Whidbey Institute at Chinook. Free and open to everyone.
