Around the Conference - Rebuilding the House

Deputy Smith reached the bridge  and found it blocked by trees and power lines draped across it. A terrified, a woman was calling to him from a car festooned with wires and broken tree branches. He yanked open the door and pulled her out.

He saw that the roof and the steeple of the Poquonock Congregational Church were gone. Then, looking toward Colonial Village  he found nothing but a  mass of flattened wreckage. On his hand-held radio Smith gasped, "To all units... Disaster! Disaster! Notify all emergency services! Notify the Governor!" More...

Healthy, Disciple-making Churches

A healthy church is a community that shares life together in Jesus Christ. People in the church are growing in their knowledge of God and are committed to seek God's will through prayer. This community naturally grows as more and more people become disciples of Jesus. People notice that the members of the church reflect the character of Christ and the church gains the respect of the community. Healthy churches live in obedience to Jesus as they love God, love others and make disciples.

Church Planting Leadership Fellowship

The purpose of this group was to gather denominational and church planting network leaders on a regular basis to share best practices in church planting and to pray together for a movement that would renew the church in the 21st Century and bring many to faith in Christ. History has proven that church planting is one of the most effective ways to make disciples of Jesus Christ in this generation. The group has grown from just a few denominations to a group that now represents approximately 75% of the church planting that happens in North America.
