Ahhh, the onset of spring. Or should I say ah-choo? Everything is new and green (including the pollen that is dusting everything this week!!) At Southern Comforts, we've geared up for a lot of activity and as proven this past week, you have not disappointed. Our consignors and customers have been flocking to all three stores with treasures to leave and new purchases to take home. It is the time of year for reorganizing, recycling and renewing your home. So, freshen your nest by bringing us your gently used furniture and home accessories. We will find a loving home for them ...and you can shop for things that will refresh your home and your spirit. We have some opportunities for fun coming up with a bus tour and a chance to contribute to a worthy cause at our clothing consignment shop. So, read on for all the news and swing into spring with Southern Comforts style!

| Jenny's Wish....

Calling all Fairy Godmothers!!!
Our owner, Jenny Eid, has a wish that we want to grant for her. Jenny wants an article about Southern Comforts Consignments featured in Southern Living Magazine. Just think...we could put our stores on the map and highlight the surrounding communities that have supported our business all these years. Our Dunwoody store just celebrated 9 years, Alpharetta is turning 4 this year and our newest store in East Cobb is 6 months old. We just feel that finding a way to make Jenny's wish come true would be such fun and so meaningful to all of us. So....any of you Fairy Godmothers who know someone who knows someone or who has an "in" with Southern Living, please help us to grant Jenny's wish. We would be forever grateful and promise your shopping with us would truly be a happily everafter!!

Wall of Fame
This month's ray of sunshine is our own Kathy Christman. Kathy and her husband Marshall have been back in Atlanta since 1998 and are currently residing in Alpharetta. Kathy is a
Georgia girl, having grown up in Dublin. She has three lovely daughters: Sara, Jenny and Amanda, and recently became an empty nester as her youngest is now in college at Georgia Southern. Kathy's Dad is retired Air Force, so she has traveled a lot and was actually born in Japan. {She's also very proud of her Dad having been in the first wave on D Day.} Kathy's interests include horseback riding- she stables two horses; her book club and spending time at her beach condo in Florida. Kathy joined Southern Comforts in 2008 to assist in opening the Alpharetta store. She loves the whole process of consignment - from working with her colleagues to helping consignors sell their things and using her decorating skills. Kathy's sunny personality and great sense of humor will make your day. So look for her the next time your are shopping with us in Alpharetta and East Cobb - she splits her time between both stores. Your day will be brighter when you chat with Kathy!
